Working at CAST R&D means being an important part of a highly talented, fast-paced, multicultural, and agile team based in Paris (France) and Bangalore (India). The team builds Highlight, a light and fast application portfolio analysis Saas solution, and MRI4Software, a sophisticated application understanding and measure suite leveraging parsing, control flow, data flow, component identification, and other mechanisms to fully understand and depict the inner structure of complex IT systems developed and used by Fortune 500 companies.

You, will be part of Integration Team, which is responsible for verifying the proper integration of all the components and extensions of MRI4Software. You will apply your expertise to increase the quality of the different data-centric, web-based components of the suite.

Your tasks and responsibilities include but are not limited to

• Specify, design, develop, automate, manage, maintain, improve tests.
• Constantly increase test coverage (depth and breadth)
• Defect reporting and follow-up with dev teams using Jira and Confluence.
• Tooling around the entire testing workflow, all the way from test case management, test data creation, automatic bug capturing, test progress and coverage measurement, test result reporting etc.
• Identify process bottlenecks and suggest actions for improvement.
• Study tools for automated testing and set up processes for automated testing.
• Suggest new tools and techniques to improve testing efficiency.

Candidate Profile

Education:

UG - B. Tech/B.E. - Any Specialization (Computer Science is preferred)

PG – MTech - Any Specialization (Computer Science is preferred) / MCA

Skills and experience:

• Preferred is 3 - 6 years of experience in automated testing and test automation, including test automation frameworks and tooling. But no minimum is required, and we will give job beginners with high potential a chance.
• Knowledge of and experience with software QA methodologies and processes.
• Proven programming experience, especially with scripting languages (Windows batch, PowerShell, Groovy, Python, Ant, …)
• Programming/development tools and environments: Git, Jenkins, Jira, Confluence.
• Knowledge of following languages/technologies/environments would be a plus: SQL, Cucumber, web development, PostgreSQL, Tomcat, Docker, and cloud deployments.
• Combined use of QA, development, and debugging skills.
• Hands on experience in using and testing REST APIs with automated tests.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
